9.15.2017

Jim spent a lot of time cleaning the bathroom floor - scraping out all the joints after putting down the tile yesterday.  Once I got there, I cleaned the floors well to make sure no Thinset was on top of the tile.  Unfortunately, I failed to get a picture of how pretty the floor looks!

When we were out at Home Depot last night, we picked up grout.  We didn't have a piece of the tile with us and today we decided on another color after looking at the grout chart next to the tile.  I'll exchange that so we'll be ready to go.

Jim also made finishing trim pieces for the side of the house...

I got them primed...

He did some more painting today - including the conduit for the electric.  Looks really good now.

After lunch, Jim was back working on installing the siding pieces...

He has one more row to go - and he got that cut and primed - then he has to figure out the top flashing over the peak.

We spent a little more time taking down some scaffolding...

The scaffolding is all down below the siding - look out clean and beautiful it looks!

Jim got a couple more pieces of drywall done this morning also, turning the corner in the master bedroom.

Our next room to work on is the laundry room.  Jim had to unwire the light fixture and do a little insulating.

Cutting the first piece of laundry room ceiling drywall...

First cutting a little hole for the light box...

We had to set up the lift in the laundry room and use it to get the piece up in place...

Once it's in place with a few screws, Jim can finish cutting out the light box.

All done!

Then Jim got the next piece done - the top ceiling is done!
