Another busy day as always!  Jim got lots done this morning...he picked up all the tile in the laundry room and got the floor ready for installation.

He then picked back up on some insulation jobs - he got the corner insulation done in the bathroom.

As well as started some pieces in the living room wall...

And even the master bedroom wall!

After lunch, we started mixing the Thinset...

We had to first do the very last row in the woodshop bathroom...

Then we moved upstairs to the laundry room...

Looking good...

All done for now!

Jim needed to save some Thinset to tape the rest of the joints in the bathroom.

All done!

Always clean up time - we remembered the spoon for sure too!

Moving on to drywall, Jim got the section of drywall up over the insulation he just installed.

Cutting the next piece for the bathroom...

Wrestling to get it in place.  These final pieces that have steel on both sides make it more difficult to get in place - Jim has to place to hold on either side.

But it's up and Jim is fastening...

Besides the shower wall which Jim is waiting on, the bathroom is just about done!

Jim had to finish putting some screws in these pieces he had installed a few days ago.

A small piece goes next to the door frame to finish up this section...

This is a solution to a problem we never thought about - no matter how flat a pancake screw is, it can still cause issues.  Jim found that if he uses his rubber mallet and a block of wood, the head of the pancake screw goes into the back of the drywall just enough to make the piece lay flat.

Using the Rotozip to cut off the edge next to the door opening...

Jim had to take off the light box in the hallway for the next piece, then maneuver the drywall into the hallway...

Jim first cuts a small hole for both the light box and the outlet...

Then he has to stand the piece up...

In place with a few screws to hold it, Jim can then cut out the light box and receptacle.

Finishing the screws...

Jim got it all fastened and the light box back into place.
