1.9.2017

It was another frigid day - it actually felt much colder than yesterday with wind chills around zero all day.  But my amazing husband trudged out to the property to work in the cold while I stayed home where it was warm.  And felt guilty feeling warm.  But Jim didn't feel like it was worth it for me to fire up my car, drive out to the property and stand around in the cold watching him do electric work.  But still.  He was out in the cold and I was warm.

He had to jump start the heater with warm air from his heat gun again to get it going.  Of course, then he comes home from lunch and turns it off and things have to warm up again.  Not that it gets warm, but it is workable.

And Jim did accomplish quite a bit - at least with electric work he isn't touching all the frozen steel!  He continued working in the master bedroom today.  He has almost all of the receptacles pigtailed together.  Plus he got the first switch put in the apartment!

He got one of the lights in the bedroom all wired up and a temporary light fixture installed.

Plus he got the other one almost all wired up.

It's exciting to think that soon we'll be able to turn on a switch and have a light in the room!

High 17/Low 3 (wind chills were around 0 all day)
