It was kind of a different day...I had a haircut appointment early this morning and Jim wanted to start on a batch of mortar a little earlier than normal because he had his CT scan scheduled in the afternoon.  Luckily, I had gotten the 3 pails of sand sifted and ready to go so he didn't have to do that.  I got to the property just as he was starting on the front...

Now we are going up steps on the front!

...and then he moved around back.

When Jim cut brick last night, he cut bricks in half - this is what we are planning to use for the very top row underneath the rafters.  It will take a lot of work to get all these cut so a few at a time!

A picture of the grading that Jim did last night too...he wanted to roll the grassy area over to the driveway better.  It looks really good - he just needs to do the same at the end of this driveway and then we'll be ready for gravel.

 

We had to scurry home after lunch and get showered and head to get his CT scan.  Hopefully we'll get some results soon!

 

It didn't take as long as we were anticipating, so Jim went back to the property and did some prep work for tomorrow as well as got the lower area grass cut.
