1.5.2016

Another frigid day so no building work.  Jim worked at his desk this morning and bundled up to head to the property after lunch.

He thinks he figured out which part is bad on the lawn mower and got it taken off - not easy because it was at the very bottom of the frame.  Hopefully he can order a new part and it will be back in business and ready for spring!

He also fixed the wand for the power sprayer - if you read closely and remember, when we used it to clean the inside of the shop walls recently, it didn't work and only came out full blast.  So that's ready for spring clean up jobs too.

Besides fixing things, he was able to spend more time organizing and even started putting together his steel desk that he used for small electric work.  However, some key parts are missing - probably in a box...somewhere.  The perils of moving.

Once he got home, we went into Saratoga - the new screw jacks for the scaffolding came in that he had ordered at Home Depot and surprisingly enough, Home Depot had the best battery for the best price for the excavator.  So we got that bought and the core exchanged so Jim will hopefully be able to get the excavator started up.

Tomorrow's supposed to be a little warmer so we are hoping that we can get out to work.
