1.10.2016

It started raining in the morning and continued all day.  Jim was sad because it broke his string of 285 days of working at the site!  But that's amazing - think about that number!  No weekends off, no holidays off - 285 straight days of being at the property!

However work still continued, just of a different nature.  Jim worked at his desk and then we headed to Sears and Lowe's before church.  It was extremely foggy on our drive, especially through the mountains, and it didn't help that it was still raining.

However, when we came out of Lowe's, we saw the most gorgeous double rainbow ever!  The rain was down to a sprinkle, although we could hear thunder and see lightning in the air.  But the sun came out so bright and low to the ground so it made this beautiful sight.  Pictures don't do it justice - the first rainbow was so bright and glowing.  Plus we could see the entire arch.  It was nice to see people just stop and stare - there were people pulled over in their cars and standing outside just to see it.  Quite amazing!
