Fastening it down...
Yikes...a ladder on top of the scaffolding makes my heart beat a bit faster! Jim's doing some measurements...
Once the rafter was up, Jim got more clip angles attached to the top of the wall for the next batch of rafters.
More clip angles...
Jim did some prep work making some tails for rafters. Our steel delivery is supposed to come tomorrow - hopefully in the morning - then we'll be back in operation.
Mid-afternoon, we headed to the storage unit and started moving things out of that too. Jim has lots of storage cabinets in this unit so it will help him find places for things in the shops. We got all of those loaded up on the truck along with some miscellaneous. The only things left in the unit are the pool table - along with the really heavy slate that we'll need help with - and boxes/tubs. We have to be out by the end of the month so that shouldn't be a problem.
The forecast today was for showers in the afternoon but we really just got a brief shower and some sprinkles until evening when it came down a bit heavier for awhile. Hopefully it wasn't enough to create lakes inside but we'll see.
