This was another day that was forecast to be rainy but the morning was pretty nice. Unfortunately, that's when the Nudura people came and that pretty much occupied Jim's entire morning. First, the truck came and picked up the alignment system. Then the Nudura rep came, dropped off our waterproofing, and picked up a few extra pieces that we had that we will be able to return for credit. It was lunchtime before all that was settled, so Jim came home and ate.
We went back to the site after lunch, right about the time it started raining. Even so, Jim worked on cutting pieces for the final section. The first piece required him to cut a notch out of the decking to fit around the garage door opening, so that took awhile. He put that piece up and clamped it into place. Then he got the next piece cut. Once the rain stops, we will be able to weld all these pieces into place which will be very exciting.
Meanwhile, I took the battery for the lawn mower back to Sears and waited while they charged it up. Once I got back, Jim was able to get it started and get the measurements he needed to see what his next steps are to fixing that.
Lots accomplished for a rainy day!
