But the crazy part is that Jim had 2 bricks left over! He had wanted to get 250 bricks but they only had 241 - so he was really hoping he was going to have enough to finish! This picture shows 3 left but one was another sample we picked up at the brick yard when we were seeing what could work.
The brick/block place is able to get a cast concrete that looks just like limestone. We want to see what it looks like so Jim ordered a piece for the top of the pedestal.
The rebar is in and we will be able to pick it up tomorrow. Jim will have to make a cradle in the back of the truck to transport it.
