We continue to have some haze in the air resulting from smoke from the Canadian wildfires. Our area is much better than a lot of the state right now due to the mountains - let's hope it continues. Mom had an appointment this morning and we just went to that and came home to avoid too much exposure.
Jim took the plywood decking off the bench upstairs and trimmed it just a little to allow for the material...
Then he cut the polyfill...
And started shaping and gluing it into place...
Jim has both deck pieces for the shorter bench ready for upholstery...
We dug out my serger - it hasn't seen daylight in over a decade! We want to serge any cut edges for protection. I don't remember all the settings, but I got it working so that's a plus!
Mid-afternoon, UPS delivered our upholstery fabric!
Of course, I had to take it upstairs to compare the colors to the surfaces - and it looks fabulous!
The new polyfill also came today, so Jim started cutting that for the long bench...
