I had an early morning haircut appointment - my first since the shutdown started so it was months overdue! Glad to have that done.
Once I got home, we got ready for our road trip down to Albany. Our first stop was at the Mini dealer. Jim had brought the dead battery hoping they could analyze it and we could buy another one just so we could get it down to them safely for them to do their checks. But no. We have to first get plates (still waiting for the DMV to open!), then get the Mini towed to Albany, and they will take it from there. Sigh...
Then we headed to the lumber yard. Jim was like a kid in the candy store because they brought him a brand new pallet of maple to choose from! If only we had a bigger vehicle...
But he got a good stash of wood - he's hoping that this is enough maple to make the rest of the kitchen cabinets!
Unloading...
All stacked up in the wood shop awaiting Jim's magic!
