2.2.2019


It was a bitter cold morning - 7 below zero! - but Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow so it is supposed to be an early spring!  

Jim worked on putting the rabbet cuts in the spacer frames this morning.  Here's one strip mid-way so you can see how nicely the jointer makes this cut...

The frames in the picture below just need the rabbet cut on the bottom strip...


Jim finished that so now all of the double hung spacer frames are built!  In addition, he was able to get a coat of polyurethane on the bathroom frames.


We decided to go sample some chowder at Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs.  While we missed our normal companions at this event and it was pretty chilly, it was a fun time.  Our church is downtown as well so we parked there and walked for a few samples and then headed back for Mass.
