This was a picture from last night - we took my car when we went out so Jim planned ahead and brought a tape measure and his conduit cutter.  Then Jim cut the piece of conduit in the parking lot to the length he knew he needed and it was able to fit in my car.

This morning started out with a quick check up for Jim at the doctor - but of course that eats up the whole morning so it was after lunch before Jim was able to get to work.  He put that new piece of conduit in place in the metal shop, extending the matrix down close to the front wall.  Unfortunately, he had to work over all our stored furniture and boxes!  The next big challenge will be to see if he can get the necessary wire through the existing conduit so he can put the light switch over by the man door.

Jim put the first coat of polyurethane on the living room window jamb extensions...

Jim also picked up plugs at Home Depot last night and built his power cords for the drill press.  For now, he made an extension cord as well since it is sitting out far from the receptacle.

Then...ta da...let there be power!
