Jim's still not feeling as well as he would like after his surgery, so he's been trying to take it easy a bit.  Yesterday, we hung around the apartment all day.  But that gave him time to do some computer work, including coming up with some more layout possibilities for the kitchen - including one we both decided is the perfect one!

This morning, Jim headed out to the local Bobcat store.  That's been another big decision point - after looking for a long time (literally years!), Jim found another Bobcat.  The upgraded model will allow Jim to get some needed attachments (snow blower, stump grinder) that aren't possible with our model as well as better controls.  This is a big purchase for us so we've spent lots of time talking about it and Jim's spent lots of time in conversation with the dealer making sure that this is a good machine.  It's located in Montana at a Bobcat dealer and it's only been used by one long-term rental and not in construction.  Still lots of details to be finalized - including shipping!

So that means we need to get our Bobcat ready to sell!  Jim needed a seal to finish putting in the glass in the door.  He also had to redo some wiring - he had to change some wiring in order to make the dozer blade work and now needed to switch it back.

Door is all fixed and back in place.

I did more trim board painting....

 

Then we had some more layout conversations in the attic - Jim came up with a great idea for the closet in the master bedroom as well as the different kitchen layout.
