Jim was back at work plastering the back wall of the metal shop today.  He just has to do some minor touchups and go over it all - it should be ready for skim coating soon!

Once the plaster work was done, Jim worked on installing his mounting board for the compressor controls...

Kind of precarious working conditions, but Jim is putting in the last clamp to hold the hose to the wall.  Once the wall is so perfect, it's hard to start drilling holes in it but everything looks so nice and neat now.

So Jim moved his first cabinet into the newly-done space!

Switching gears, he started working on hanging drywall in the lower stairwell area...

Before he could proceed further, he had to figure out how he was going to do this upper area - he is going to make a shelf at the top of this wall.  He first made some blocking...

He had to get out the stair ladder to reach this last piece of blocking...

He did some more work in the wood shop before calling it a day and heading down to the treadmill!

Mid-afternoon, we had a line of storms come through with very strong winds.  For a little bit, we just stood in the stairwell and watched the giant pines just sway in the wind!

High 60/Low 39 - on/off rain and very windy
