Once he got the top portion to the size he wanted, he flipped it over and started on the back side...
The edging is all done - I love it!

As you can see in the previous pictures and below, all this router work made a huge amount of plastic "snow" all over the shop!
Jim practically filled up a trash can with all the shavings...
Now onto the finishing. Jim did the first sanding...
Then did some wet sanding...
Buffing...
Trying some rubbing compound...
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Jim is going to do a little more research into the finishing but it is so pretty. I told him I want it upstairs now!
At the end of the day, Jim lightly sanded the window sill pieces and got the final coat of polyurethane on them
