So more inside work for Jim. He worked on my computer again this morning, transferring all my thousands of pictures - most from this blog!
He went back to working on the outside temperature sensor. This is the wire coming into the furnace...
All wired up...
Jim makes everything so nice and neat - you can't even see the control wire as it goes up the gas line...

We have had some issues getting our Sunday paper delivered here but with winter weather on the way, we finally got them to drop off a paper tube. It came with the steel bracket but we wanted it to mount to our existing mailbox post so Jim had to made a modifier. This was his first attempt - after taking it down and trying it out, he wanted it shorter so he remade it.
Now it's attached to our post so hopefully we'll have a dry paper in the morning!
