6.2.2015

This morning, Jim got the brick/block saw moved around to the back of the carriage house where he will start the work.

Then he got the block that we picked up yesterday around to the back also.

Then it was back to work putting together the double studs.

He got them all done and set on another pallet, ready to be moved up to the top.

Then we hand carried all of these steel tracks up to the top.  Most of them are 20' long so it wouldn't work to carry them on the Bobcat.

We then decided to go pick up more block - Jim is saving a lot of money by cutting these in half instead of buying them to size.  So he called Lowe's and they had a pallet ready for us.  This is a lot of weight - between 3,000 and 3,500 pounds! - so the truck did a good job on its first road trip if the year.  This pallet will be more weight than the Bobcat can lift - so we will have to take some off first.  But now they are on site and we can press on!
