All clamped and drying...
Since Jim is more familiar with the drying process now, after the first joint was dry, he glued the next piece on. He'll let everything dry overnight and work on forming the edge tomorrow!
Jim worked on the window moldings this afternoon. Finishing them takes awhile - there are a lot of crevices in this design that he has to make sure to get done well. He first had to sand them...
Then put the stain on...
The stain is all wiped off and four pieces are drying...
Jim also attended to the driveway this afternoon. The freeze/thaw cycle had caused some areas to be extremely icy. Today's temperatures warmed up so Jim got the Bobcat off and took small passes over the driveway, scraping just a little off each time to avoid scooping up gravel. Temperatures are supposed to be warmer tomorrow too so hopefully the sun will continue to melt those areas. Of course, we have a forecast of 1-3" of snow on Wednesday so it's good to get the driveway in good shape before the next round hits.
