On these pieces of moldings, he didn't make the relief cut in the back - he's going to use them to cut the smaller pieces he needs for one side of the bedroom doorframes that is close to the wall.
This afternoon, it was all about the generator! Jim did some voltage testing in the house first.
He shut off power to the house and then opened the generator - time to install its battery! Putting some anti-corrosion grease on the posts...
Check out this can - Jim said he has had it since he was about 20!
A little grease on the connectors as well...
Battery is all connected...
Once it was powered on, Jim had to walk through a lot of steps to connect it to the wifi and get it to start downloading lots of information.
Then he turned it on to test it - you can see the green light showing it's on!
Tomorrow he'll work more on it but this was a huge step!
