10.25.2019

I helped Jim move his brake over to the west side of the wood shop and then he rearranged his other tools.  It looks really nice now and is a bit more usable.  It probably won't be the last set up but it's good for now!

Then Jim spent most of the day working on door frame moldings.  Starting to run a piece through the molder...

It takes two passes through the molder  - and they are slow passes - once to make the design and then Jim puts it through again to smooth out any marks...

Amazing how this intricate design comes out the other side!

Cleaning up a bit...

All the moldings are now shaped!  This is about 100' of molding.

Next step is to sand them all...

Jim did take a break this afternoon to spread the rest of the eco-rubble on the upper driveway...

The forecast is for some rain tonight so Jim is happy that he got this done...

Jim also attended to some project management work today - he called the gas company to see if they would come out and make the connection to the generator.  At first, they told him it would be 7-10 days.  They called back later in the afternoon and scheduled it for Monday morning!
