Jim spent the morning working on plumbing - figuring out exactly where the drain needs to go for the kitchen sink and making sure the slope is correct.  He had to make another bracket to extend the run.



Then he got the loop vent all figured out and glued together! 

 

This is the view from up in the kitchen - our first kitchen plumbing!

 

At lunchtime today, Jim went to pick up his repaired motor for the air compressor.  On the way, he stopped at another chain saw store - this was a smaller operation and was willing to work with Jim a bit more.  However, the model that Jim wanted he needed to order, so it should be in next week hopefully - just in time for more yard work!

 

Jim worked on putting the repaired motor into the compressor - he did discover that they failed to put one seal back on - so Jim couldn't put it completely back together.  Unfortunately, this place is kind of a drive.  But at least the compressor works now!
