4.20.2017

Things went a bit smoother today and Jim made lots of progress on the plumbing.  This is the run from the upstairs bathroom sink over to the stack.

Jim figured out where the washer drain needs to go and continued the run, including the wye for the vent.

Upstairs, Jim had to remove the one stud in the bathroom wall and move it over to allow him to put blocking where the holes in the sink will mate to the wall.  Plus he made blocking in the wall to attach the sink drain pipe.

Jim brought up all the Durock for underneath the flooring in the bathroom and laundry rooms.

Then it was back to insulation work.  First, Jim had to extend the roof baffles up another length...

Working on the small batts in between the blocking just takes a lot of time.

Working on the last piece in this first cavity next to the wall.

Jim made a cut through the insulation to encase the wiring in the ceiling...

That technique worked really well to get good coverage around the wiring.

End of the day progress...
