Jim used his new steel to make more brackets. Then it was back to figuring out plumbing. Things like - which side of the kitchen sink would we possibly have the garbage disposal? I don't know how he figures out problems when a kitchen sink isn't even on our shopping list yet. But all of that makes a difference when figuring out plumbing and vents.
Jim got more brackets installed and the run extended.
Another view... The building inspector also called Jim today. We plan to have a urinal in the shop bathroom - the inspector had told Jim that it wouldn't need to be vented separately because it was close to the stack but that he had to do a little investigating (what? urinals are common in houses?). The inspector called and actually apologized to Jim and said it will need to be vented. So Jim had more pondering to do.
The end of the day is reserved for insulation - you can see that Jim got quite a bit more finished up in the living room ceiling!
Poor Jim - as if he doesn't have enough of his own plumbing issues, the kitchen sink in the apartment is still leaking a bit so he brought home a wrench to see if he could tighten things up a bit more. Jim thinks the landlord used some of the old parts when he fixed it recently so we'll see.
