First thing this morning, Jim went to the Building Department to talk to the inspector. Jim wanted to tell him that we passed our rough electric inspection. His comment - I'm not surprised! But then Jim wanted his blessing on the way he was doing the plumbing stack. Jim showed a few pictures but asked he could stop out if possible. So he came out about 1:30 and stayed over an hour - half the time talking about anything but plumbing! Jerry gave Jim his blessing on the way he has things set up and will even make things easier for Jim than he was planning on some areas involving venting.
Once Jim knew that things were good with the inspector, it was time to once again take apart the stack and rebuild it - this time gluing the joints.
Jim did change the way he did the toilet run...this will need to be glued.
At the end of the day, Jim went back to insulation again. He was able to finish more of the master bedroom ceiling. He's now working on the last space next to the wall - but this is a difficult part because of all the blocking.
