First, he did some more reorganizing and getting ready for the steel truss delivery.
Then, he got busy working on the temporary decking in the stairwell area. He got all of the steel up on the deck. Then, he moved the welder around to the side of the building on our newly-made road. He then was able to get all of the pieces welded on as well as the concrete anchors set on the sides of all of the pieces. So now the whole area is enclosed.
Once it started raining, Jim came home for lunch. Our plan was to head down to Albany to pick up another roll of dimple board so that we can move on with backfilling. Unfortunately, when Jim called it wasn't in, so we'll have to pick it up on Monday.
However, Jim still used the rainy afternoon to good use. After doing some deskwork, he went into down and arranged the steel delivery as well as a crane to unload the trusses. So next Friday will be another steel day!
So it was a good day - and then in the evening, the Browns beat the Bengals! Go Browns!
