8.12.2014

Today was forecast to be a rainy day.  So Jim left early to see what he could get done before the raindrops fell.

He started preparing the footers next to the wall and applying the bottom part of the waterproofing membrane.  I did a few pieces too...it's extremely sticky - you have to get it in place and peel off the backing without it sticking to everything else!

He also needed to get the Bobcat out of the site.  So he built a bridge again...

You can click on the video to watch him go over the wall - it was so scary to watch!

Okay - obviously I'm not as smart as I think I am!  We seem to be able to watch the video on our desktops, but not on tablets.  So in case you aren't able to see the video...here's some pictures of Jim going over the wall in the Bobcat...

He also started putting some blocking on this first course to hold things into place.

It started raining lightly at lunch and we thought we would be rained out - I even left to get to the store and get a few things done at home.  But Jim ended up being able to work most of the afternoon.  He got all the steel done in the section of Nudura on the ground level footer and then started working more on the second course.

You can really see the shape come to life now!
