I had my rescheduled dentist appointment this morning and then did some grocery errands. Jim had cut the upper sheathing pieces cut this morning; after lunch, we marked them and he started putting them up...
Putting in all the screws...
We took the next piece inside to cut to size for the two end pieces...
Then Jim installed the first one...
Last piece of sheathing done!
The inside view...
Jim set up the sawhorses in front of the pavilion to cut the rafter ties/ceiling joists...
Then marking the end roof angle cut...
Next step is to attach the steel clips that Jim cut yesterday...
Marking and getting ready to put some clips on the opposite side...
Putting the first rafter tie in place and then he screwed it in place to the clips...
Putting up the next tie...
Now that he knows the design works, time to make the next three...
We carried the ties up to the shed and then Jim started placing...
Attaching the other side - first 5 done!
