Jim got tools and equipment up to the shed, and then got more scaffolding from the old shed. A stop at the pole barn for more platforms and cross braces...
Then he started setting up the scaffolding on the other side of the shed. This is the side with the steep incline where the dirt isn't real compacted, so Jim knew he was going to have to do some digging...
This is the very back side where it's the lowest, but we used one of our ancient scaffolding blocks to boost up that side and things worked out great...
Final tweaks and we are good to go - Jim put some screws through the feet into the blocks just to make sure things stayed stable...
Once it was all set, Jim started putting up the connection flanges to get ready for the top layer of sheathing...
Meanwhile, Jim played paparazzi as I was sunbathing on the platform watching him!
Next, Jim put in all the screws underneath the track into the top plate - this requires first drilling and then using screws, so it's a lot of work...
It was another cold and very blustery day, so we felt really good at the accomplishments outside. Once Jim got all the tools and equipment put away, he started working in the metal shop. He set up his metal saw...
Once he got some cut, he put the pieces in his vise and was able to punch holes...
