Jim now has pieces for the side and back panels of the desk!

Putting the pieces through the drum sander...

Gluing up more pieces...

It was a crazy, warm day - in the upper 50s when it was below zero just a couple days ago! - plus there was some light rain this morning.  So sadly, our snowpack is going down.  But Jim did use the nice today to unbury the hose for the lawn hydrant...

Testing it out - so nice that the lawn hydrant won't freeze!

Then he sprayed off both the cars - they really needed it!

After sweeping out the auto bays of a few months of salt droppings, Jim came in to put the other piece of moulding in the bathroom.  This is the piece that Jim glued together to make a deeper piece to cover the wood backing - it turned out great.

Putting a bead of caulk on...

Then fitting the moulding into place...

Taping it into place until it dries...

Because there was a wood backing board on this area, Jim was able to put these really tiny nails in to make sure it stayed in place...

Cutting this moulding makes all of this very fine, staticky dust that sticks to Jim's saw, floor, everything!  He did a bit of cleaning before calling it a day.

While Jim was busy doing all that work, Mom and I played around in the kitchen this afternoon - we made homemade graham crackers!  They were fun to make and even more fun to eat!

High 57.4/Low 28.7 - AM light rain
