With the box extender we picked up yesterday, Jim was able to get the receptacle box all finished this morning.
Unfortunately, the old piece of drywall no longer fits and Jim has no more sheets of 5/8" drywall left.
So he had to be creative - he cut the drywall and slid it down to fit over the receptacle, cut out the area for the new box, and then had to use a scrap piece to fill in at the end. As our building inspector said one, His taper isn't going to be happy, but it all looks good now. He's hoping to start taping this wall tomorrow.
We headed outside in the afternoon - the weather has just been spectacular. When Jim moved the lawn mower to access the chipper, we noticed an oil spot on the pole barn floor. So Jim took a quick look... At the end of the day, he used the power washer to clean it off, put it back in the pole barn with plywood underneath - he'll have to figure out what's wrong.
On the tails of yet another job that needs to be done, once Jim brought the chipper out, the battery was dead. So he had to push it closer to the garage and he plugged in the good old battery charger.
Then thankfully it started!
We took it to the edge of the woods and made quick work of our pile of branches.
This area is now looking quite park like!
Before calling it a day, Jim took five bucketsful of rocks back to the wall!
