Jim continued electric work in the stairwell this morning. He took out the existing receptacle box and wiring...
Then installed a metal box that had more room for all the extra wires...
All back together. Jim is going to get an extender for this box and then he'll be ready to button things up.
We headed outside again this afternoon. First, Jim put the bucket on the Bobcat and we picked up all the stakes left over from the concrete job and took them to our stash up on the hill...
Then we went back into the wood and started loading up the cut wood...
A lot of this wood is in good shape so we aren't really sure what we are going to do with it - we may advertise it for free on Craigslist. With that thought in mind, we started stacking it up near the end of the driveway...
Jim definitely got his weight lifting in today - we took three bucketsful of wood out of the woods!
Then he flattened out the area a bit leading to the stone wall...
He picked up a scoop of rocks from our pile...
Then was able to dump them on the existing wall in the area that needs built up...
You can see how this tree grew on top of and over the original wall...
It was so long ago - look how tall the tree is now!
We knocked off a bit early and took the Mini out for a spin to Lowe's to pick up the box extender and a few pieces of conduit. They didn't have everything he wanted but it was a beautiful evening for a drive!
