Putting a coat of primer on the toe boards...
Then Jim spent time fitting the doors onto the pantry cabinet - how beautiful does this look? I can't wait for it to be in the kitchen; unfortunately, that has to wait for awhile. But Jim is so happy with the way it turned out and is glad he redid the doors.
A coat of gray on the toe boards and cabinet doors...
And the other cabinet doors...
Then we headed back outside - today's mission was to cut down some trees! This is the before picture - eventually all three of these non-pine trees have to go.
Starting to make the cuts...
One down - Jim is cutting the stump flat...
He wanted to get as many of the branches cut off now before the next tree came down, so he cut and I dragged them up and stacked them by the edge of the driveway for chipping later on.
Starting on the next tree...
Second tree down and Jim is again cutting the stump flat...
Then cutting some of the branches off...
Look how good it looks to be able to see only the pine trees! One more to cut down another day.
