I'm starting the blog with a picture of the sky last night as we headed out to Saratoga Springs - it was so gorgeous!

You can see from that picture that almost all of our snow was gone except for piles.  However, we woke up to an inch or so of snow so it definitely looked more like January in Upstate New York!

Jim did some work in the shop this morning, putting some molding through the machine...

Then he brought up my spice rack!

Doing some pre drilling on the other cabinet, going into a block of wood to keep the hole totally straight...

Clamping the two cabinets together...

Then contorting himself into the cabinet to fasten them together...

 All done and beautiful!

It didn't take me long to get it all filled up - so fun!  It truly is like Christmas all the time - I just love to see all the exciting changes in my kitchen!

Back down in the shop, Jim hand sanded the fronts of the two drawers and got a coat of gray paint on them...

Then he sanded the drawer pieces...

And put the final coat of polyurethane on them...
