The epoxy on the Corian was all dry so Jim used his hand planer to carefully scrape off the excess...

A little sanding over the seams...

Going to look beautiful!

Next step was to cut it exactly to the size and shape so Jim first drew the lines on the surface...

Wherever possible, he used his circular saw to make the cuts...

This is a complicated piece to cut, with 45° corners and inside corners.  This is as much as he could do with the circular saw...

Then he had to get the router out for the rest.  He set up his ruler as a guide for the inside corner area...

Countertop is all cut to size!

Time to flip it over so he can work on the other side...

Back to scraping the excess epoxy from the joints...

Again using his marker to mark where he needs to work on edges...

He used the table saw to cut all the pieces he will need for the first layer of edging...

He had to sand the pieces to insure the epoxy would stick...

Putting the epoxy on the first piece...

Putting it in place...

And clamping...

Last piece!

Whew - all done and time for it to set up!

Our snow started just as predicted about 1:00 and it's been snowing light but steady all day.  It's very cold too so we decided to go to church tomorrow evening.  That way, Jim can plow the driveway tomorrow afternoon after the snow is finished and we won't be on the road tonight when it's still coming down.
High 16/Low 15 - cold & snowy
