He ordered new glide hardware for these drawers because the cabinets don't have the typical face frame to attach glides too. He wasn't thrilled with the way the new ones attached so he modified them by making these mounting blocks that he used to attach the front bracket...
Then these mounting blocks fit perfectly behind the outer frame - Jim is much happier with this approach.
Glueing up more wood...
Putting a coat of polyurethane on the assembled drawer sides...
The other is drying on the outfeed table...
And, for good measure, a coat of poly on the other side of the drawer bottoms...
We called the work day just a bit short - Jim has to have a kidney ultrasound done this evening. It's just a follow-up precautionary test. The weather is kind of nice and we are expecting snow later on - we are taking the 4Runner and heading to Lowe's afterwards to pick up a few supplies.
