Time keeps marching on...hard to believe it's time to change the clocks again.
Jim worked in the metal shop again, continuing to build pieces for the wood rack. Picking up where he left off yesterday, he finished attaching the end plates to the base pieces.
All three base pieces have the plates attached and the welds all cleaned up...
Next, he worked on figuring out placement of the post tie pieces...
Marking hole placement...
Then set up the drill press for drilling all the necessary holes...
All 3 posts now have the holes drilled for the post ties...
Then he welded on the tension plate to the connection of the post and the base - wow - looks awesome!
Off to church...
