He also painted more of the cross brace pieces...
He was a little constrained with working in the workshop while paint was wet, but he did start taking apart the old air compressor a bit just to see if there were any parts he could replace inexpensively.
On the new air compressor, he hooked up the water drain valve. Before there was a small thumb valve underneath the compressor but Jim replaced it with the longer extension tube so that you don't have to crawl underneath.
He cut some steel pieces that he will use for his work bench and got some of them drilled for button welds...
