Back to the nailer assembly line for Jim.  But the good news is that he got them all finished!  There's one that needs to have a small piece attached - the piece of wood had a big crack in it and Jim didn't want to use that.  But I know his wrists and arms and all the tools are very glad that that project is about done!

Jim wanted to protect the wood from the elements until we can get the deck on - he considered using a wood sealer but then decided on using our heavy plastic.  So I cut up a bunch of 10" long pieces and we used our shrink wrap tape to hold them in place.  Very ingenious!

We got five covered before we ran out of shrink wrap.  This worked really well and should keep everything protected.

We started working on the cross bracing - we got it all marked and clamped into place and Jim got the brace attached at the top.  We'll work on these tomorrow.

Towards late afternoon, the skies kind of looked threatening, so we decided to go to church this evening.  Afterwards, we went and picked up more shrink wrap tape and more wood so we can get the nailers all finished tomorrow too.
