Jim started gluing up the kitchen cabinet side panels...
More gluing stages...
Jim had to figure out how to attach the 45° face frame to the front face frame - he used the ShopSmith to drill some holes...
He was able to fasten the two pieces together...
Then he took them apart and glued the joint...
Next issue - how do you clamp that joint?
He then moved upstairs to the bathroom to work. Now that our new cabinets are in place (and we are loving them!), Jim can install the baseboard moulding. First the backing piece...
Jim said he just loves working around the toilet - which caused my mom to have an attack of the giggles!
A good start - it will really make this area look finished. A new hamper is on its way as well.
Jim knocked off a bit early and headed into Lowe's to pick up some maple plywood for the top shelf on the bathroom cabinets.
