This morning, Jim worked on prepping more wood for the vertical shelf units...
Mid-morning, while I was out on grocery/Lowe's errands, Jim headed to the Drywall Center to pick up the steel he had ordered for the storage room he's going to make in the wood shop. He hadn't been there in ages, so he sat and chatted with his rep for quite a while! However, he had major sticker shock - steel prices are now about 4 times what they were when he last bought some! A steed stud that he last paid about $8 for was almost $30 - crazy!
He got a late start to lunch but afterwards he lightly sanded the cabinet backs and put a second coat of polyurethane on...
Then he headed down to the metal shop to continue priming - more hand work...
Using the trim roller...
