We had some divine intervention last night as we were getting ready to leave for date night.  Jim couldn't find the key to the Mini and then realized that he may have left it in a pair of work shorts that were so worn out that we threw them away.  The trash was already down to the curb for pickup early in the morning and we were able to retrieve the key.  But if we weren't going on date night (which doesn't happen that often), Jim wouldn't have realized the key was missing and it would have be gone to the landfill.  Whew!  Definitely divine intervention!

This morning, I headed out to do some grocery errands - Jim had gotten lots done when I got home.  He made more pieces for the panels of the side cabinets...

More pieces being glued...

Jim had to figure out how to get electricity into the storage room so that he can put a light inside.  He decided that he needed to tie into the receptacle by first cutting the drywall so he had access.  Thankfully, this was a part of the drywall that hadn't been plastered because it was behind a storage cabinet...

Drywall all cut out...

Jim did the electric work on the new car lift pump so that he can plug it in...

I held the funnel while Jim poured 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid in the pump.  Jim has it under pressure now to test and make sure it doesn't leak (fingers crossed!).

Because Jim is doing the work to replace the pump, the company tech that Jim was working with said that he would send him the extender pads that he'll be able to use for the 4Runner (these are normally hundreds of dollars).

Jim ended the day doing a bit of rock work with the excavator - he said he felt like he hadn't been outside much in days!
