I ran errands this morning - Jim was very busy putting the dado cuts in the sides of the assembled cabinet pieces.  Check out his drawing and you'll see all the measurements he had to make in order for all the shelves to fit in perfectly...

Plus, it was difficult just to get these pieces to fit on the saw perfectly because they are so long - to make the last cut, the board was to the window!

He had to go very slowly and cautiously - one mistake would cause all the work that went into this panel to be wasted.  But they turned out perfectly!

He had to make all those cuts on 4 different panels - it took him over 2 hours to do them.  Doing a trial fit...

Then it was back to assembling the desk for my mom.  There were so very many pieces - it took him over 4 hours to assemble it!  I told him I can't imagine how Mr. Joe Homeowner would fare trying to put it together.

He still has some adjustments to make but it looks good!

At the end of the day, he did some work on the storage room, cutting, predrilling and attaching the wood to the door frame...
