Happy Labor Day! (Isn't it Labor Day every day?)
Jim did a few more household tasks this morning - hanging up a few more pictures...
Perfect! I'm especially happy to have these hung up - we had bought them in Ohio at the Pine Tree Barn (one of our favorite places). They were one of two things that I hadn't found after our move - they ended up being in a box in our new book storage area. They look much better back up on the wall!
Jim painted the other side of the cabinet tops - a quick job that then required over an hour to completely clean the paint gun.
Another messy job today - replacing the leaking pump assembly on the car lift. The old tank is now off...
Taking off the motor assembly (this is the extremely heavy part!)...
Jim was able to do all this with very little mess - he drained the tank back into the pail of hydraulic oil. Here's the old assembly...
The new one is now all assembled and on the lift. Jim still has to wire a switch and then fill it back up with oil...
We have to send this old pump back to the company, so Jim had to put it back together, clean it up and get it ready...
All packaged back up - we'll take it to FedEx tomorrow.
Jim finished off the day starting all the hand trim work with primer in the metal shop - yay that all the plaster work is done!
Continuing the hand work on the front wall...
