Jim continued working on moulding pieces - here he's planing some of the wood we bought at the lumberyard last week...

More pieces in the gluing process...

In the metal shop, Jim connected the hydraulic pump to the car lift post...

His parts came in for the lawn mower, so today was time to switch out the fuses/fuse holders.  The old ones weren't sealed so water got in them and caused arcing issue.  The new ones come with these covers and a rubber seal to prevent that...

Jim wanted these fuse covers mounted to the side of the Scag so that was the first step.  Then he Jim cut the old one off, pigtailed the new one on, and put heat shrink tubing on...

Both of them done and nicely tucked out of the way...

Jim knew that one of the tires was flat so he started putting air in it, only to discover the valve cap was broken.  So one problem fixed and another problem to fix.

Jim also spent some time today talking to the local glass company.  At first, they said that Pella windows are sealed units so they have to be replaced with a Pella window.  Then Jim explained that he had taken the sash apart and had the glass out!  They can special order a tempered insulated glass unit - Jim is going to take the old glass just so they're sure to order the right glass.
