Jim continued work in the moulding factory this morning...
Then he switched his attention to working more on the broken window. He used his router to cut out the bead holding in the glass...
Then he turned the window over and used his vibrating tool to break the seal of caulk holding in the glass...
He got the glass piece out...
Next step will be some investigating to see if we can even buy the right type of glass locally.
In the metal shop, Jim worked on getting the lifts all plumb in both directions...
Each of these anchor bolts need to be torqued to 90 foot pounds. Jim started off slowly to make sure that there were no issues from remaining dust in the hole - so he did 30 foot pounds on each first, then increased each one incrementally...
They included shims in the assembly kit but Jim wanted ones a bit thicker in one area so he made a few out of scrap steel...
Shims are in place, foot guards (the yellow) are in place, and Jim is doing the final torque to 90 foot pounds.
Jim is reattaching the pulley - he had to remove it to add his metal piece to help with lifting...
