Jim had to start the day with an eye doctor appointment for some new reading glasses.  We went our separate ways after that - I went on to visit Mom and Jim headed home.

Jim made step flashing today for the shed overhang... 

Putting up the first piece of step flashing...

Then a shingle...

Another piece of step flashing...

Then another shingle...

Continuing up with more flashing...

More shingles...

Jim can only go so far because he has to work the wall flashing and siding into the mix as well.  So he started on the hip shingles...

Cutting an angle onto each side of the bottom...

These shingles have to be attached with long, stainless steel nails...

Next hip shingle...

This side is done for now and looks amazing!

Time to start on the other side...

End-of-the-day picture - both sides and hips are done as much as possible right now.  The overhang looks really nice!
