Jim got an early morning recorded phone call that our elliptical would be delivered soon, but he didn't have much more info than that. He got the forks on the Bobcat and headed to the end of the driveway. Thankfully, the driver called with a better time estimate so Jim was able to meet him. Here it comes up the driveway!
Bringing it into the auto bay...
The box had a little damage on the outside, and the driver took pictures. But Jim wanted to get the box off to make sure all was okay. Plus, today is trash day, so Jim wanted to get rid of as much packing material as he could.
Yikes - look at all these parts and pieces!
Jim just did a couple first steps towards assembly...
Then it was back to shed work. Jim cut an old piece of channel to the right size to use as a jig for the bottom Z-channel placement, and marked location...
The company puts an old piece of siding on top for protection, so Jim cleaned all the tree debris off...
And used it to make sure the siding pieces would fit between the two channels...
Then it was time for the first piece of siding...
Jim marked fastener locations and then we chalked lines...
Pre-drilling just makes installation easier...
And in place with enough fasteners to keep it on...
Marking and pre-drilling the next piece...
Attaching...
We got one more piece up so a great start and looking great!
