I did errands in Saratoga this morning, including picking up another 50 pound bag of grass seed. We think maybe the grass seed we put down was old; it's coming up, but barely.
Jim wasn't happy with the siding. The top carried over the trim piece that was needed before the lean to addition, and Jim just didn't like it. He wanted just the regular siding all the way across. So down comes the siding...
Doing some measuring...
Putting all the fasteners back in...
Jim salvaged steel pieces from our stash to use on the corner braces for the chipper cart; these pieces will be used to attach the wheels as well. He got out his old big grinder to clean off the surface rust - here's the before and after...
Cleaning up the last one...
He put a sandpaper wheel on the grinder to clean them up more (pictures to come!), and after cleaning up from all the jobs, did some grass cutting to finish out the day.
High 79.6/Low 67.1 - beautiful! |
