Jim made drip edge flashing for the air conditioner cate this morning...

Trying it out...

It was perfect, so he cut it to size, took the staples out of the underlayment, fit the flashing underneath, and stapling it on...

Stapling the underlayment back in place.  He'll make the side flashing and then we'll be ready to go for roofing.

More details on the barn door.  Jim wasn't happy with the door stops, so he modified them - smaller and much better...

Jim couldn't have the flat edge of the bolts on the front side like these brackets were made for, because there wasn't enough space in between the back of the door and the siding.  But he didn't like the way it was either.  So he used his grinder to cut off the bolts even with the bracket...

Then he beveled the ends of the bolts, turned the brackets around, and now he's much happier!  He's also going to rework some of the siding on top, but that's for another day.  Looks fabulous!

Sitting outside, I never get tired of this view...
